PROFILE
I am creative & strategic web content manager and travel and food copywriter based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. I have 20 years’ international online marketing experience in creating and broadcasting compelling content to deliver customer retention and improved conversion.
My organic, colourful SEO copywriting and content curation, photography, multi-media editing and cross-platform analytical skills engage online communities and serve at the heart of social media conversations and campaigns.
Outside my daily freelancing roles I’m an urban girl with a small hankering for a part-time country life hence my efforts to grow veggies and raspberries on a small allotment plot. I adore travelling, food and photography and spent most of my adult life living in Hackney London, although I worked for a time in Nassau NP in the Bahamas and Barcelona too.
My love affair with Italy began whilst studying History of Art in Florence aged 18 and by the time of my mid-thirties, my partner and I had bought our small village bolt-hole in the region of Abruzzo, east of Rome, as an active alternative pension. We lived full-time in the region for 4 years and moved back to the UK – St Albans, Hertfordshire in 2014 with our gorgeous little boy who is now 5-years old. I am currently writing a book Folk and Food about this fascinating central Italian region.
I am co-founder of the Abruzzo Blogger Community and Italy’s first English language food and wine blogging event Let’s Blog Abruzzo.
Have a look at my personal blogs Life in Abruzzo to read about this little-known region of Italy.
